Welcome to MAT 125 Web Fundamentals. This course introduces the fundamentals of building Web pages, including HTML coding, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), image optimization, web typography, interface design, basic JavaScript, and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) for uploading websites. Students also learn about browser and platform issues, modern coding best practices, responsive design, and management techniques for personal websites. Just plain type in a text edit program - Notepad on PC or Text Edit on Mac. Let your imagination take you as far as it can. And build a solid foundation for when you do move on to an HTML Editor or Dreamweaver or other mark up languages. Important links to more information about this class.
